julia (she/they) is a southern raised, brooklyn based performer with a passion for comedy and physical theatre. she received her BA in dramatic art from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill.​

one of her favorite forms of theatrical collaboration is devising through the universal language of our bodies. she’s trained and devised in laban, commedia dell’arte, mime, & suzuki; but considers herself a viewpoints girl. at present, julia is an ensemble member of Blessed Unrest.

 

when not doing very serious very artistic physical theatre, julia does very stupid very dumb comedy​​. she is perhaps best known for her work as a clown, where she has appeared in Stamptown, Soho Playhouse, & The Idiot's Hour to name a few.

she is the host and creator of Clown Karaoke Night, and the writer-performer of her solo show:  i’m gonna go viral even if it kills me.

when not performing, julia enjoys junk journaling​​, dancing at the club, collecting tiny treasures, playing her nintendo switch, or cheering on the UNC men's basketball team (go heels!).
